Summer Reading Club Carnival

The long awaited Annual Summer Reading Club Carnival will kick-off our Summer Reading Clubs with a bang! It's for all ages, with caregiver on Saturday, June 22 from 10:00am-2:00pm.  Expect great entertainment and a few surprises including the following:

• Jester Jim – the roving juggler.   
• Fire Safety – sponsored by The Hauppauge Fire Department.  
• Children’s ID Cards – compliments of New York Life Insurance Company.  
• Truck Farm – compliments of Avalon Park and Preserve.  

A fun time is sure to be had by all! No registration necessary.

Congratulations to the Winners of the Writing Contest: In Times of Crisis We Rise Above

The Friends of the Arts at the Hauppauge Library in conjunction with the Hauppauge School District hosted the second annual Writing Contest for students in grades 1-8.

2ND ANNUAL WRITING CONTEST WINNERS

1st and 2nd grade:

The winners in this division were a tough decision for the judges, there were 38 entries at this level.
